So I realize that many of you are strangers to me so I thought now would be the perfect time to introduce myself to you guys and tell a bit about my career journey as well as my life experiences that have led me to deciding to share my voice at the intersection of style and wellness. And so this episode we’re going to get all up in my business, and I’ve decided that I’m not going to overly filter myself in this space and I’m gonna be a bit more open about my personality too because, ya girl is goofy. I’m extra sometimes. I’ve calmed down a lot over the years but I definitely love to laugh and have a good time. As God is calling me to use my voice more, He wants me to bring all of myself to the table.
How often do we get a new opportunity or meet new people and show up to the situation as only a shell of ourselves? Showing up authentically is something that I used to do so easily in the past, but a series of disappointments pushed me into a shell that I never knew before, and we’ll talk a bit about what those disappointments were later, but I never would have even been able to see that I wasn’t showing up fully if I didn’t regularly take some time for self reflection…
