“If I had known what it would take and how expensive it would be, I might have been overwhelmed. [I’m young without children, so my thought was] If you go broke, you can always get a job and make it back—it’s not that deep. We’re in a space where people never want to fail publicly, but just focus on making something great and go for it. You just have to keep going, and if it’s good quality and has excellent design, it will speak for itself.”
